What is needed to play?

•       Shirt/Jersey (provided by the club)

•       Shin guards

•       Socks (must cover the shin guards)

•      Shorts (should be close to the same color as the other players)

•      Soccer Cleats (no metal studs)

Ballard Youth Soccer has a couple of uniform choices depending on the age of the players. 

U7-U9 - The club provides T-shirts to the players and coaches that are kept as a souvenir at the end of the season.   These come in a variety of exciting colors (24 exactly) with Ballard's Viking ship and soccer ball sail logo on the chest.

U10-U19 - The club issues a Red ClimaLite Adidas Avantis Jersey
that we ask the coaches to collect at the end of the season. 

Each club in SYSA has a color scheme assigned to them. 

Ballard's Club Colors are Red, Silver & Black.        

If your team decides to purchase your own uniforms we ask that you use these colors. 

The Ballard Viking ship logo and the SYSA logo both need to be on the Jersey.

What it is - A place to exchange your clean and out-grown cleats.

Location - 2353 NW 85^th St.  Blue bins by garage door (off Jones Street).

How it works - Clean your out-grown cleats, tie the laces together and label with size.  Place your old clean cleats in the appropriate size box.  Take home the pair that you need. 

Couple of other Notes 

• Yes, you can take cleats even if you don't bring a pair for exchange.
• Please clean cleats up before putting in the box.
• If the cleats have holes or broken soles please don't bring them nobody ever takes them.
• Please only soccer cleats. No Baseball or American Football.
• The Exchange is open year round.
• Some people have dropped off other equipment such as sock, shin guards and balls, so sometimes this stuff is available.

Ballard is trying to provide some of the other parts of the uniforms for purchase.  These sales are orchestrated between the coach and the equipment manager.  We order these in bulk and may not be able to accommodate all requests.  The earlier you get the request in the better the chances of getting what you desire.
